Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) have appointed Slaviša Stojanović as their new first-team coach.
The former coach of the Slovenian national side Slaviša Stojanović is the new man at the helm at Red Star. The 43-year-old coach was officially unveiled on the 24th of June after signing a 2-year contract with the Serbian giants.
"The managing board has decided to entrust Stojanović with the task of getting Red Star back to winning ways and he will join the team at pre-season training in their Catez base in Slovenia," said the club in a statement published on their website.
Stojanović replaces Portuguese coach Ricardo Sa Pinto, who had resigned from the 1991 European Cup winners a week earlier.
If you can't get to Belgrade in person at the moment but still want to show your support, then Red Star's online shop is the perfect alternative.
