GAZPROM and Zenit St. Petersburg send socially engaged Fan to UEFA Champions League Draw
Pavel Nedved, Ludovic Giuly, Emilio Butragueño, Clemente Villaverde, Ian Rush or Robert Pires. The list of legends and former world class players visiting the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Draw last Friday in Nyon was long. But this time there was a new face among the European football elite. Gennadii Voloshin.
Gennadii from St. Petersburg is the winner of the “marathon of goof deeds” campaign from GAZPROM and its partner Team Zenit St. Petersburg. Gennadii has completed 5 good deeds within 5 days (e.g. collecting donation for children homes in St. Petersburg) and therefore was chosen to participate at the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Draw and have an exclusive look behind the scenes of the UEFA.
Beside having the unique opportunity to be in the auditorium during the official drawing ceremony, Gennadii and his wife Elena had the possibility to meet UEFA Final Ambassador and former FC Liverpool and Juventus player Ian Rush as well as former Arsenal London player Robert Pires. Both legends were more than happy to answer a couple of questions and taking plenty of pictures with the winner.
The experience was completed with a guided tour through the UEFA Campus in Nyon.
